Artist's Comments

A mighty werewolf warrior pins a serpentine foe to the ground as it thrashes about him.

The pose here is somewhat puposefully reminiscent of medieval depictions of St. George slaying the dragon, with it thrashing up around him. The "dragon" in those older depictions is frequently shown as a great serpent (ie, Satan) rather than the more traditional four limbed flying sort we see in fantasy today. This is a nod to the older style... but with a werewolf doing the killing instead of a Christian saint.
