Large view of wardrummer, particularly his face.
This shows off Wardrummer's eye wonderfully, which I think were one of his best features. If you look closely at his eyes, you can see the outer iris is a sky blue, and then closer into the pupil, fades to a stormy blue-grey. The fade between colors was done by painting the iris the base blue, then, while the paint was still wet, adding a dot of blue-grey to give it that faded look. It makes it look more like a real eye, as people's eyes are egnerally not uniformly one color.
His eyes were done by initially sculpting his head with empty eye sockets. Then the eye was formed as a small bead of material and stuck into the socket. Two little ropes of material were added around the edge of the eye to create the eyelids. Then a third little rope of material on the eyeridge, and then feathered with a razor blade to create his expressive eyebrows.

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
