The Ahadi was forged to defeat the Wyrm-tainted Simba Black Tooth. When he died, his final roar shook the Umbra of Africa and even those far from the battle knew something momentous had happened. But his final roar sent cracks through the foundation of the Ahadi. With the key reason for its existence gone, long simmering hatreds between the Fera and Garou threaten to boil over again, starting another War of Rage.
As horrible as the genocidal Black Tooth was even the minions of the Wyrm feared him. With him gone, they creep back out of the shadows and chip away at the fragile alliance. Great monsters beneath the earth stir from their slumber and rise to battle.
War Council kicks off the Ahadi block of cards for the Rage CCG. Ahadi will focus on Africa and the native Fera including the Ajaba, Ananasi, Bastet, and Mokole along with THREE new Wyrm factions. War Council introduces the first of these new factions, the Unbound, fomori free of Pentex’s guiding hand. Without Pentex to rein them in, the Unbound are free to pursue their own personal goals, making them terribly unpredictable foes.
War Council represents the Western Garou’s (and Wyrm’s) first steps into Africa, offering a taste of the friends and foes they will face. War Council focus heavily on the planning stage of the coming conflict so is filled with Moots and Board Meetings as both sides try to arrange things to their political advantage.
A war can’t proceed without proper planning, but all the planning in the world can’t save the Garou if they don’t know how to fight! War Council introduces a fistful of new combat and sept cards focused on different fighting styles. A deck focused on Firearms will have distinctly different combat style than one focused on fighting up close with tooth and claw.
War Council contains 41 cards and is available as a free printable PDF download or for online play on the Gatling Engine.
