I've started the art draft for the next Rage CCG set, Rainmakers. We're doing this differently this time in that returning artists get first pick of stuff before I even go hunting for stock images.

However, this doesn't mean I'm not hunting up artists to approach, thus I'm on a favving spree. Some of them will ultimately get approached for permission to use their art, some won't. I'm just gathering samples right now. Some may ultimately turn out not to work because its a piece of someone else's character, doesn't work on the card frame, or I can't ahold of them because they've got no e-mail and haven't been on deviantart in a year. Sometimes that happens.

If you've worked on Rage before and want a first round pick off the draft to do a custom piece, drop me a line and I'll give you a link to the list. It's all about the african shapeshifters! If you've been itching to paint African Hunting Dogs, hyenas, crocodiles, and lions, this is your chance.

Custom pieces will be due in July. If you want to include them in art shows for summer season (like Anthrocon) make sure to tell me that and we'll post that info to the Rage players so you'll hopefully get more bids on the piece. We like advertising! (ditto for any previous pieces you've done. If they'll be in a show, drop me a note)
